Science Reveals Top 5 Benefits to Sleep Nude

Many of us sleep in a nightgown or an oversized T-shirt. In fact, some people will giggle while others will look at you with amusement when you tell them that you sleep naked. Despite the need for many people to sleep in something, science says that sleeping naked is the best. Unfortunately, only 12% of us practice it. In order to help the 88% of Americans who have not embraced sleeping in the buff, this guide will highlight some of the benefits they are missing out.

1. Better Sleep
Everyone wants to enjoy their night and sleep as soundly as possible. This is what sleeping naked does for you. Insomnia is attributed to a number of factors including heat. Although a room temperature of 65 degrees is ideal for a good night’s sleep, you cannot enjoy this if you are covered up. On the other hand, you can enjoy such ideal sleeping temperatures by sleeping naked. People who sleep without any clothing on tend to fall asleep faster and maintain long hours of uninterrupted sleep.

Woman in Coma After Her Butt Implants Explode

buttWow! Did a woman’s implants really explode while doing squats?  Sources say, this is one of the most shocking news to hit the internet. Serena Beuford, 27, was working out for an Instagram video when she heard a loud pop. Soon after, she fell to the floor screaming in agony… saying that her butt was gone.(like that was the biggest problem) Beuford’s sister, Jackie Beaford said:”My sister Serena had visited an unlicensed clinic to get the butt she really wanted (64 inch bottom). She started to become famous on Instagram and even got a job at a club. Guys would look at her differently and buy her expensive stuff just because of her butt.”

That clinic is now under investigation. Doctors said Beuford will require extensive medical procedures to repair the damage caused by the implants.

An eye witness said, “I heard a loud popping noise followed by the woman falling to the floor. She was screaming ‘my ass is gone!!!’ I had no idea what she was talking about until I saw her cushion like butt missing when EMS took her out the gym.”

We are living in a period where women think its OK to get but implants and don’t take the time to realize  that things might  “just go wrong.”   Is social media to blame for this?

Is Too Much Kale Bad For You?

A nutritionist weighs in on the nasty rumors circulating about this leafy green.

Right when you thought kale was the most perfect food known to (wo)man, a story comes along that says, “No, actually, it could poison you.”

The Mother Jones story, titled, “Sorry, Foodies: We’re About to Ruin Kale,” is going gangbusters. In two days, it’s already rounded up more than 35,000 Facebook shares and is taking over Twitter, suggesting that kale consumption commonly leads to too-high levels of thallium, a toxic metal, in the blood—and that that leads to chronic fatigue, skin problems, arrhythmias, gluten sensitivity, and Lyme disease. Yikes.

But kale? It’s low-cal and rich in calcium and B vitamins. Plus, a single serving meets your daily needs of both vitamins A and B. Research even suggests that kale extract may inhibit cancer cell growth. So before we dumped our kale in the compost pile, we ran the story past dietician Alexandra Caspero, R.D., owner of Delicious Knowledge.

Brain Cancer: Facts on the Causes, Stages, Symptoms and Treatment

Screen Shot 2015-06-03 at 11.58.35 PMBrain Cancer: Causes, stages, symptoms and treatment

Brain cancer is a disease of the brain in which there is abnormal growth of cancer cells in the brain. This can arise from primary brain cells, cells that form other brain components for example blood vessels and membranes. It can also arise from growth of cancer cells that develop in other organs and have spread to the brain in which case it is known as metastatic or secondary brain cancer.

Many growths in the brain are popularly referred to as brain tumors. A tumor is a mass of cells. However, not all brain tumors are cancerous. There are two types of tumors, benign tumor and malignant tumor. Whereas a malignant tumor is comprised of aggressively growing, abnormal-appearing cells known as cancer cells, a benign tumor is not. Therefore, benign tumors are not brain cancer but just brain tumors. Malignant tumors spread aggressively into areas of healthy tissue and then overpower them by taking their space, blood and nutrients in order to survive. This eventually cause a problem in the brain as the growth can lead to increased pressure within the space inside the skull known as intracranial pressure, it can also lead to the distortion of areas of the brain causing them to malfunction. Both brain tumors can cause intracranial pressure but malignant tumors cause such problems more aggressively and quickly as compared to benign tumors. Brain cancers seldom spread to other organs hence unlike other cancers, they are staged according to their cell type and grade.

Sales Associates Are Targeting Minors When Selling Diet Pills

Screen Shot 2015-04-27 at 3.27.01 PMThe ongoing body image crisis in American teenagers seems to have become worse over the years. Even though there is much more public awareness about it today, that public awareness has sadly normalized it in the minds of some people, who think this level of body consciousness is somehow normal among adolescents. That may explain why new research indicates that a high percentage of sales associates won’t refrain from recommending diet pills and testosterone boosters to people who are 3 years too young to take them.

There was a recent study in which the participants contacted 244 health stores in 49 U.S. states, making it clear that they were 15 years old at the time. Nearly 10 percent of the sales associates that they called still recommended the testosterone boosters for the callers anyway, even though these supplements are actively dangerous for people under the age of 18.
