Whether they like it or not, Apple and Samsung are going to be stuck working together for the foreseeable future. According to ZDNet, Kim, Ki-nam, president of Samsung’s semiconductor business, said this week that the company’s profits “will improve positively” once it begins supplying Apple with its new 14-nanometer processors. (Reuters) – Software company Yodlee Inc , controlled by private equity firm Warburg Pincus, priced its initial public offering at $12 per share on Thursday, according to a joint bookrunner for the offering. (Reuters) – Names, addresses, phone numbers and email addresses of roughly 76 million households and seven million small businesses were exposed when computer systems at JPMorgan Chase & Co were hacked in a recent cyber attack, the company said in a statement on Thursday. Angry Birds maker Rovio may lay off up to 130 employees as it begins to restructure its business because of slowed growth. The potential layoffs represent around 16 percent of Rovio’s employees and will come from unstated departments at its Finland headquarters. “It is never easy to consider changes like this,” CEO Mikael Hed writes in a blog post today, “but it is better to do them sooner rather than later, when we are in a good place to reignite growth.”
